New York City-based architectural and interior design firm Studio Dror has teamed up with luxury automaker Acura to design this limited-edition desk inspired by the new Marvel film, Thor. Designed for an operative agent working for S.H.I.E.L.D., the intelligence and security organization of Marvel Universe featured in the film’s storyline, Dror interpreted the fictional work environment into a stylized and functional fixture. The desk features a graphite and light wood base, secret drawers and compartments, concealed Bose speakers, a discreet iPhone/iPad docking station and a finishing inspired by the Acura TL’s chassis. The chair will be on display at DDCLAB with plans for limited reproduction starting in May.
